Iggy Pop tribute band Raw Power in concert at Pendor Corner

Saturday evening in Corner, Beyoglu, . Waow, what a concert that was. And the least I can say is that I nearly went there backward. Tired, sleepy, it was like, I’d promised them I’d go and announced on my website I’d take pictures so, oh well, let’s give it a try… So eventually we arrived late, but the gig was late as well. “Where is Archie?” I ask, to which laughing answer to me “oh well, that’s always the question: where is Archie? and in which state is he?!” Archie is the singer of . A four guys band roughly aged 30 to 40+. Expats from the UK and the US living here in Beyoglu, in the heart of Istanbul. Well it sounds like Archie has arrived. Getting in, getting the camera ready. I took the 14mm and the 45mm tonight (that is 28mm and 90 on 35mm equivalent, a wide angle and a portrait lens). God that was good. And I’m happy about the energy that came out from the pictures. Had to go for colour. No more time, said I would publish this all today, time is running, enjoy… and please comment! :)
